Blog Updates

The Header:

My header use to just be the text "It's all about Melody." Since then I have changed it to the name "Melody's Blog." I have added my logo to my new header as well.

The Sidebar:

My sidebar use to be messy and unorganized. I now have deleted the members of the web design class who have dropped. I have since changed the formatting as well. The titles of the widget groups are now a blue, while the links and texts about the blog are an orange. I have since moved the my blog's archive down to the bottom of the page, in the footer. I have edited the size of the sidebar down from the default size of 310 pixels. To the size of 250 pixels.

The Post:

I have changed the post title to a blue and it matches the rest of the blog's blue title. The links are various colors of orange depending on whether the are unvisited, visited, and hovered. The rest of the post text is blue as well. The date, name, time, and comments are all in the same color of orange. The photos in all of my blog post range in size depending on how they need to be displayed and the requirements of the assignment, as well as CARP.

The Footer:

The footer use to just be the little saying of "Travel template. Powered by Blogger." I have added the Blog Archive to the footer. The title of "Blog Archive" has been changed to blue as well. The rest of the links below are the same three shades of orange as the rest of the links on my blog.

 The Overall Look:

My overall look as been majorly changed. I use to have just some random template that I thought looked cool. It was a non-relevant tie dye background. Now its is a picture that I took myself at the Top of The Rock in New York City, New York. If you look at my blog in Safari you can see, that where the B written in white with an orange background is, my favicon which happens to match my blog theme perfectly. I feel that as if my blog looks more put together and professional rather than just some blog that is an assignment for a class. The overall look has been much improved since I started this blog during my Sophomore year.
