My name is Melody Baker. I am a Senior at Olathe Northwest High School. I am in the Web Focus of e-Communication, the 21st Century Program. At Olathe Northwest I participate in the Marching Band, Concert Band, Nation Honors Society, Link Crew, and the Varsity Track and Field Team. I am currently ranked 2nd best in the state of Kansas in Girls 6A discus. I am the active webmaster of the ONW Raven Pride Bands website. I am in Girl Scout Troop 837 of the Northeast Kansas and Northwest Missouri region. I volunteer to work with a younger Girl Scout troop on Mondays during the Fall. I received my Girl Scout Gold Award (the equivalent of Eagle Scout, for girls) in April of 2014. For my Gold Award, I redesigned a Kiosk for the Deaf Cultural Center here in Olathe, KS. I volunteer for Girl Scout Camp during the summer.
